COMET COSTRUZIONI METALLICHE SRL was established in 1975 and specialises in the construction of heat exchangers, pressure vessels, skid packages and associated equipment for many industries including Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Process.

In the last ten years, more international certification has been obtained and COMET are now able to design and manufacture pressure vessels according to the ASME “U” STAMP with recognition to THE NATIONAL BOARD OF BOILER & PRESSURE VESSEL, “URZAD DOZORU TECHNIZNEGO” (Poland) plus the equivalent Hungarian code and commencing 2003 to the SQLO rules for export to the People’s Republic of China.

COMET, between 1994 to 2003 operates its manufacturing programme in accordance UNI - EN with certification to ISO 9001 and with constant improvement to ISO 9001/2000 in 2003.
The European 'PED' standard was introduced in 2002 leading to the ATEX rules in 2003.

Calculation and designs are produced with software and specific in-house developed programs and can also be verified using recognised software such as HTFS.

COMET workshop has a covered area of 3500sqm complete with offices and an open area of 4000sqm available. Workshop and technical department is based in SOLARO (MI) Italy.
