Plate Heat Exchangers for Power Plants, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Process Industries

Our partner for Plate Heat Exchangers is Tranter, having worldwide assembly plants and manufacturing in Sweden. In the UK Plate Heat Exchangers are assembled at the facility near Manchester and supply many of British leading companies in the Power, Chemical, food and mechanical engineering industries. Our fast computerised quotation service offer firm delivered prices and is backed up by our ability to manufacture frames, assembled from stock, regasket plates and provide complete on-site service support all within the UK. Together with Tranter and other partners IPC has the capability to optimise cooling systems. In particular Engine cooling systems can be optimised by balancing flows and temperatures of Closed circuit Radiators and Plate Heat Exchanger to offer the lowest cost solution and maximise the total system design.

The creativity, technical expertise and dedication of Tranter's people have resulted in the world's most comprehensive range of plate-type heat exchangers. As world leaders within this field, Tranter continues to push the frontiers of heat exchanger technology forward in order to consistently offer its customers superior performance, economy and service.

Design and Computer Programs:

Computer programmers use the very latest technology in developing our products and design systems. Complex computer programs are in operation for single-phase flow, condensing and evaporating duties, as well as advanced CAD methods for production. The theoretical thermal calculations have been verified by extensive testing in the laboratory and at customer installations.

Materials of Manufacture:

Tranter plates are manufactured as standard in:- Stainless Steel grade 304 and 316, titanium and Hastalloy. Gaskets are available in NBR (Nitrile), EPDM, and Viton. Frames are fabricated in painted mild steel or stainless steel with threaded, flanged liners or hygienic connections as required. Compact brazed units are available in Stainless Steel.
